Happy Friday! Wow, this has been one crazy week. I wanted to switch things up a bit for the weekend and do a survey for my latest idea. Now I planned on having this survey earlier in the week but I got tied up with a few things and well, you know how it goes.
So my idea is as follows. I would like hear your input on a possible slogan for the new hugecooking.com clothing line (ie. t shirts, tank tops, aprons, long sleeve t shirts etc). I have been battling with the idea for a couple of weeks and then I just realized – why don’t I ask the readers? I have come up with, what I think is, a great slogan for the front of the t shirt (see below), however I need your opinion.
My goal for this clothing line is to donate the profit earned to the food bank. I thought it would be a great idea to help out the food bank since they offer a great service to people in need.
The survey below is a list of the narrowed down slogans. Of course I am wide open to other suggestions in the comments.

Below is a sample of what the t-shirt will look like in white. There will be different styles and colors to choose from but my whole goal of this post is to get your feedback on the slogan choice and whether you feel like you would be interested in something like this.

Have you thought about having the “zesty” in other colors or is there a significance to the green? I’ll buy an apron from you but for some reason the word “zesty” conjures up red in my mind.

You should reach out to the folks at Neighborhoodies.com — they work with a lot of sites on charitable partnerships and have been retailing clothes on the web for years. Plus, they’re much cooler than the cafepress-type sites.

Zesty ~ You rock! I LOVE the idea of your shirts, but, even more so that you are donating the profits to The Food Bank. You have such a great heart. Good luck with it and keep us posted on how it goes. I will definitely get a shirt!

Since you are wordpress.com, it’s difficult to fix the problem due to lack of php access. The easiest thing to do is to shorten your “page names”.

I voted for Get Cooking, but I agree with a previous poster…I’m not a green fan per se. Huge red fan though. Either way your idea is awesome (profits to food bank). We need more people like you in this world.
P.S. I would make it just “get Cooking”…no punctuation. The simpler the better.
